Greencastle - William Priebe, 63 of Greencastle died at 4 p.m. Tuesday in his home. He had undergone open heart surgery the first of August. He had been a welder and mechanic most of his life, employed by Schwerman's at Greencastle. Born in the Linden area, he was a son of William and Effie Frances Priebe. He first married Elsie Wilbur. He then married Lucille Branham of Greencastle who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Ernest of rural Crawfordsville; Larry of Greencastle and William of Alamo; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Page of Greencastle and Gerry Lowe and Judy Jordan, both of Rt 3, Crawfordsville; two stepsons, Ronnie Branham of Greencastle and Dick Branham of Crawfordsville; a brother, Lloyd of Illinois; three sisters, Gerry Clone and Audry Rodgers of Illiois and Norma Stephenson of Franklin; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Arrangements are incomplete in Whitaker Funeral Home, Greencastle.
